Venezia Part (2) Due
It's taken me some time to finish my post about Venice and the main reason is the downloading of video clips. Downloading takes a long time and sometimes they fail to load. Venice is less than 3 hours by car from our home in Tuscany, so we arrived in mid-morning and walked all around the main body of Venice. The water taxies almost doubled in price since our last visit 3 years ago, but they do have day passes that you can buy which makes it alot more affordable as Venice is an expensive city. We found a reasonable hotel (Hotel Arcadia) for the night and it was great to get out of the sun and heat after walking all afternoon, so we could prerpare for the evening in Venice! Venice is so magnificent at night and on this night we had a full moon to guide us thru the dark streets... especially after our dinner at Carpaccio where we had our share of Vino, Limoncello, and Grappa!
